This year has gone in so quickly; who would believe there are only 32 shopping days left until Christmas! It’s funny, I was just thinking the other day as we parked up the Cosmo’s Pizza Taste Tour van after our last stop in Airdrie for 2012 how old Santa Claus must feel when he’s finished his work on Christmas Day!

OK, Santa has it covered on mileage, but then he’s got the advantage of a pretty nifty sleigh, packing a lot more break horse power (or is that break reindeer power?) than my pizza van. That said, there are similarities… While Santa has his troupe of elves busying away all year at the North Pole making the toys, my fine team of pizza chefs never rest, making sure that every Cosmo’s pizza is as lovingly crafted as the next. Then there’s the logistics. You don’t get toys down millions of chimneys overnight without a bit of organisation and you don’t get the Cosmo’s Pizza Taste Tour van round 65 stops, sharing the pizza joy with hundreds of new friends without some serious planning. Or maybe it was just the SatNav…?

So, while Santa is putting his feet up on the 25th December, and taking a well deserved rest, the team and I will be having a little celebration too before getting our heads together to plan the Cosmo’s 2013 Pizza Taste Tour…
